So would you say there is good and evil in the world and that it's to do with people, or that the idea of good and evil isn't quite the right way to look at it?

Sorry, what I actually swung by to say was have a good birthday when it gets here - I hope you get to spend it with the people you love :).

Also, I've only just seen your reply on the other post - I wasn't simply shunning your kind offer. However, I sort of wanted to keep my email and blog seperate (not really sure why), so I hope you don't mind if I ask another quick question while I'm here. Do you believe in fate, destiny sort of ideas? I forget the train of thought that led me to this point, so it's probably as much out-of-blue for me as it is for you :).

Yes its not meant to be against women but the exact opposite. I will not go into the exact meaning in public but it has something to do with an apple and knowledge its a metaphor and my coven uses it with the greatest respect!.

Yes I am very intuitive and generally follow my instincts. This is fine until my instincts clash with 'indoctrination' like "though shalt not commit adultery".

Each day I realise more and more that things aren't 'black and white' but varying shades of grey.

The point was well made.

Words can also be a power/energy to be used for good or bad too! The written word being far more 'dangerous' than the spoken word.

The phrase "the pen is mightier than the sword" springs to mind.

To me deja-vu is more than a feeling.

It's hard to describe but I often have 'real time' conversations that in my head I can recall having previously (word for word) though know I haven't had! I can remember this from an early age and thinking "if I say 'this' instead of 'that' then I can change the outcome of the current situation.

Sort of 'precognative' (I think that's the term)!

Does this make sense?

Yes energy is something to be harnessed. As you say it's how you direct the resultant force(s) that's decides the 'good' or the 'bad'.

Sorry, that's what I meant about my tone of voice - I didn't mean any of it to sound nasty or like I was having a go at what people believe. I'm genuinely curious about how people mesh all the different aspects of life and it's so easy for people to ignore it all and say 'it's just what I believe' and I want to ask 'why?'.

No problem i never get offended . Did not jesus say according to your faith you will be healed ,is faith just not belief in action . Also i believe in the bible it mentions about not boasting as its better to pray to the father in secret and is not the greatest commandment all about love and i am sure also there is something about not judging lest ye be judged. Sorry if there were any faults in those sayings i am a bit rusty on the whole bible thing. As long as the questions do not get nasty i dont mind!.

I'm aware, from conversations I've had with a number of close friends, that I'm not particularly good at getting across what I mean or saying what I want to say, but I'll give it a go. I'm not sure I'd agree that energy is alive, and observing an experiment always effects the outcome - that's still just science - but it's sort of the believing in it making it happen thing that I'm struggling with, and what do you mean when you say holographic universe (sorry, I've just re-read all that and I didn't mean it to sound so blahish, I wish I could portray my tone of voice better)

And it's probably best not to get me going on religion, I've got a whole truth thing going on over here that always leads down the path of if so many religions claim that their's is /the/ truth then most of them (completely regardless of the annoying habit of people to simply say 'we each have our own beliefs') are just plain false. Oh, dear, better stop there before I start on a mini-rant :)

Hey its no problem. I am not against science at all in fact most pagans and people who use magick love it . Science is no longer the enemy in fact quantan physics is our greatest friend as it has shown how energy is alive and that we the observer can alter the effects of an experiment just by observing it and the fact that we do live in a holographic universe. I also have no problem with religion as praying is a form of magick in itself . I hope that this helps . Feel free to ask any more questions.

I'm sceptical. How do you explain away things like science when you imply that secrecy, or simply believing in something makes it happen? And if you suggest that 'magick' is above or outside of 'science', then how do you argue (if you do) against things like religion, which would also be outside of science but infinitely more useful and full of hope than something as comparatively limited as magick?

Hope I don't sound too argumentative, but I'm just curious :) (this is all assuming that your blog is as it appears, and it's not a piece of creative writing or something, thanks)
